[<100 days]

Since I’m now trying to get back into the rhythm of blogging, I figure I’ll post a little rant on the issue I’m having with the media portrayal of President Obama in this <100 day period.  I find it comical that a couple of weeks ago, Obama was criticized for being too negative.  Yet now that he’s being positive, shown on tv as trying to be light-hearted about the multitude of issues the Bush regime have saddled him with, now he’s criticized as not being serious enough.  This is  too silly to even rant about because I knew this was coming about a month ago.  This 24/7/365 media culture we live in is contributing to our own economic demise.  People need to take a break from the news (myself included) and take a stroll outside.  Stop worrying about the economy and the daily plus/minus of the Dow Jones average which isn’t nearly a reflection of our entire economic development.   FDR back in the day closed the market for a couple of days.  I think Obama should shut down CNN, Fox News, and MSNBC for 2 days and ask people just to go outside and talk to one another.  Breathe people!!!
